Darksouls 3 Twin Princes Boss Fight
Fight Mechanics
The Twin Princes boss fight, the second to last boss fight in the game right before the Soul of Cinder. (Not counting optional or dlc bosses.) The fight can be found at the very end of the Grand Archives zone. Now first things first when you enter the boss room you'll need to fight Elder Brother Lorian. He has similar design to the Outrider Knights you can find throughout the game, except much larger and wielding his Greatsword. He's weak to Frost and Magic damage. Though very very weak to Lightning Magic. You'll want to use the lightning spell or resin on him. He's very resistant to Dark damage. He can bleed, but it's either bleed or Lightning. So you wouldn't really need bleed if you having lightning. He can be parried, though once parried can only be countered. The only way to Riposte is when you hit him with a weapon like Ledo's Great Hammer that has a bunch of poise you have a chance to stagger him. Once in Phase One he'll have 4249 health. He attacks in large damaging attacks, making them somewaht easy to dodge if you stay up close. Though he will teleport and try to get you from the side or from behind. I would suggest using the Carthus Milk Ring boosting the chance to not take damage while rolling. So when he teleports just roll away in any direction, taking time to look for him afterwards.
Phase Two
Once you kill and take care of Lorian, Younger Brother Lothric will come down off of his balcony and climb onto Lorian's back. You'll now have to fight each of them. Lorian has a few more attacks, he'll teleport over you and attack from above, again when you see him teleport just roll away. Once he's done attacking this is a good time to get a few hits in. Lothric will do a few spells, he'll launch Twelve light balls in the air that will shoot and follow you three at a time. and will also do a large blast of blessed damage towards that you that you'll want to dodge as well. Depending on how you hit them you'll deal either damage to Lorian or both. But you'll always deal more damage to Lorian, soon enough he'll die and Lothric will fall off his back, At this point you'll want to nail Lothric while Lorian's down. Soon enough he'll bring Lorian back to life with less health, and repeat. You'll need to do this as many times as it takes depending on your New Game Plus and Attack Power.
Boss Weapon
Now the boss weapons for the Twin Princes Fight are unique in the way they can be used once you go into New Game Plus after getting both. Once you get Lorian's Great Sword and Lothric's Holy Sword you'll be able to go where you turn your souls into boss weapons and combine the two making the Twin Princes Greatsword.
Lorian's Greatsword
Lorian's Greatsword is one of the two weapons you can get from The Twin Princes boss soul. It deals a base 151 Physical Damage and a base 79 fire damage. With 100 critical points. It requires 29 Strength and 10 Dex. A base scaling of D with Strength, Faith, Dex, and Int. Though at +5 deals a base 276 Physical Damage and a base 144 fire damage, scaling a C in Strength but D in everything else
Lothric's Holy Sword
Lothric's holy sword is the other boss soul weapon that you can get from the Twin Prince's Boss Soul. It's a straight sword with a base Physical Damage of 107, requiring 10 strength13 Dex and 14 Faith, it has a base scaling of D in Strength and Dex and a base scaling of E in Faith. Once +5 it deals a 196 base Physical damage and the Dex scaling moves up to C.Twin Prince's Greatsword
Now the only way you can get this greatsword is if you beat the Princes in NG, got of one of the boss weapons, then beat the Princes again in NG+ and got the other, then you can go to where you get your boss weapons and you can combine the two, getting the Twin Prince's Greatsword. It has a base damage of 129 and a base fire damage of 83. Scales D with everything and at 5+ it will deal 230 physical damage and 154 fire damage.
