Bloodborne: How To Get Blade Of Mercy Early

Image
Blade of Mercy The Blade Of Mercy is a weapon in Bloodborne that can be either a normal sword, or twin blades. The BoM has somewhat small starting damage with a base 60 physical and 30 arcane. It is a pure skill weapon, so leveling skill will be a great idea for this weapon. At +0 it has a C ranking in Skill, then at +1 to +4 it has a B ranking, +5 to +9 it has an A ranking and at 10+ it has an S ranking. The BoM is a fast weapon, and great for fast combos. Infact, it's main combo happens to be an R1 spam. With the BoM you can get an 8 hit combo just with R1. While in transformed mode its L2 does a sweep attack then a back step. The best attacks for this weapon are attacks followed up by running or dashing, as it does 50% more damage when done so. Though the thing is, to get this weapon you normally have to go through Eileen the Crow's quest line then Defeat Rom, a later game boss. After defeating Rom you go to the Grand Cathedral and if you did her quest you fight a

Bloodborne: How To Find And Fight The Cleric Beast

Image
Bloodborne  When you first start the game you'll start in a room of Isofka's Clinic. There will be a few stairs to go down into another room. In here there is a Lycanthrope eating the body of someone. Here you are meant to die from the beast to show you how when you die you get transported to the hunters dream. If you do it that way, in the Hunter's Workshop will be closed till you come back to the dream the next time. If you run past the Beast and go straight to the lamp the door will already be open.  So run past the beast and open the door into Yharnam. You'll see two gates, one to the right, and  one to the left. The one to theright you won't be able to open till around mid game. So if you go to the right gate then take another right, you'll beon a street near a Huntsman. Since you have no weapon left, walk a little bit further you'll see an item and a lever. Pick up the item, it's a few Blood Vials, and pull the lever. Once the lever is pu

The Differences Between Bloodborne and Darksouls

Image
The Differences Between Bloodborne and Darksouls  Bloodborne was released on March 24th 2015 and was surprisingly similar to Fromsofts other well known game series Darksouls. Then exactly a year later on march 24th 2016 Darksouls 3 was released, which was even more like Bloodborne like it's previous games. And that's why I'm here to point out a few of the differences between the two games. The first difference is probably the most obvious, the setting. Bloodborne changes out the medieval setting of Darksouls for a a dark gothic horror setting with Cthulu beats running around. Instead of going through big medieval towns and fighting giant knights in Lothic, Lordran and Drangelic in the souls series, in bloodborne you travel throughout the land of Yharnam, most of it being a gothic and dark 1800s like town, with beasts and such running around. Another thing about the setting in Bloodborne vs Darksouls. In all three of the darksouls games, you run the risk of tur

Darksouls Moonlight Butterfly Boss Tutorial

Image
Moonlight Butterfly The Moonlight Butterfly is an early game optional boss in Darksouls. You can find it in Darkroot garden up a tower past a few Stone Golems and tree monsters. If you're human you can summon Witch Beatrice to aid you in the fight, her summon sign is right under the stairs leading up to the Moonlight Butterfly This boss is unique in the way that it's the only boss of it's kind in this entire game. Instead of a giant demon you have to fight, it's a... well. Butterfly in the sky. Now if you used pyromancies or have a bow, it'll be very useful in this fight Instead of the Moonlight butterfly being down for you to hit, it's in the sky shooting sorceries at you. Basically you just have to dodge her attacks till a little while later she stops and rests at the bottom of the bridge, this is where you attack her. Deal as much damage as you can, if you do it right you can get her by the second time she rests.   Well there really isn&

Darksouls Iron Golem Boss Guide

Image
Iron Golem The Iron Golem is the boss of the area Sens Fortress in Darksouls 3. The Iron Golem is a large boss, with slow attacks and very telegraphed moves. Honestly Sen's Fortress was harder than he was in my opinion.  Now this boss fight will be a lot harder if you use a dex build. A lot of the dex weapons aren't good against him. The best weapons you can use with this boss is some sort of hammer or club, and Gold Pine Resin. This boss is just one giant thing of armor, so Lightning and Strike Damage will do wonders against him Another thing you'll want to do is before you go into the boss, go up the spiral staircase opposite the direction of the fog wall. Up the spiral staircase is a giant, he throwing giant fire bombs down in the boss room, making a large section of it on fire. If you kill him here, there will be a lt more room for you to fight the Iron Golem. When fighting the Iron Golem you'll want to stay under his legs, attack his legs and keep

Darksouls Gaping Dragon Boss Tutorial

Image
Gaping Dragon The Gaping Dragon is the boss of the Depths are in Darksouls. Once you kill the Gaping Dragon he drops the key to blighttown which is one of the two ways you can get to Blighttown, the other way being through the Valley of Drakes. The Gaping Dragon boss is fairly early game. At this point in the game this is probably the biggest and strongest boss you've encountered at this point.  Luckily for you there's some NPCs you can summon. If you met Solaire of Astora and Knight Lautrec in the Undead Burg then you'll be able to summon them. Their summon signs will be next to the staircase leading down to the gaping dragon boss fight. And of course if you find any player summons you might want to use those rather than the npcs. When you get into the boss room the Gaping Dragon will come out from the pit at the very end of the boss room and charge you. The best idea in this fight is to attack his tail and the back of him, mostly because his open rib cage wil

Darksouls Ornstein and Smough Boss Guide

Image
Ornstein and Smough Ornstein and Smough is the boss of Anor Londo. The boss fight consists of two knights, Ornstein and Smough, surprising I know. Ornstein and Smough are known to be one of the hardest boss fights in all of darksouls. You can find Ornstein and Smough inside the cathedral at the end of the long bridge in Anor londo, if you've already done everything to get there then you can go straight in. When you enter the boss fight you'll see the two knights, Ornstein and Smough.  Ornstein being the smaller Lion Knight with the spear is much more agile and quick than his counterpart Smough. Ornstein will charge right at you int he beggining of the boss fight and will continue to do so through out the fight, using his spear to follow you and punish estus drinking. While Ornstein continues to get up close on you with his spear, be careful of the larger knight Smough.  Smough is a giant knight with disturbing armor, and an even more disturbing great hammer near
