Why Darksouls Is The Best Darksouls Game.

Darksouls is the first game in the Darksouls series with consists of Darksouls, Darksouls II, and Darksouls 3. Although technically there is Demonsouls, which came before Darksouls, and Bloodborne which came before Darksouls 3 we're only going to be talking about the Darksouls games, and not all the Soulsborne titles.

Level Design

While darksouls might not have the best combat, compared to newer games like Darksouls 3, which definitely has the better and more fine tuned combat. The way the world in Darksouls is built is worlds better than Darksouls 3 or even Darksouls 2. In  Darksouls3 and for the most part Darksouls 2, you have a general direction to go and you go there. For example in Darksouls 3 you have no choice about where you want to go. You go to the High Wall of Lothric, from here you kill the boss Vordt and go to the Undead Settlement. You can kill an npc though and trigger an end game boss The Dancer of the Boreal Valley and go to Lothric Castle, from here you can kill the castle's boss but have to wait to progress till you kill more bosses later game, so again it's forcing you to go it's suggested path. There's nothing wrong with this! In many ways having a set path to go is a good thing, it's definately less confusing. But I believe that having choice about where you want to go is what makes games like this great. In Darksouls when you get to Firelink shrine, you have a choice. You can go to Blight town right out of the gate, and go fight Quelaag. Or you can go to the Undead Burg and fight the Bell Gargoyles and those bosses. Or you could even go into the catacombs and fight Pinwheel early, and if you really wanted to you could go into New Londo early. The choice is up to you about where you want to go.

Covenants and Npcs

Darksouls has a large amount of Covenants and very memorable NPCS compared to the other games. A lot of the NPCS are hidden or you only see them if you join certain covenants, and then certain covenants will allow you to save different NPCS. It's all very intertwined and makes for a large amount of replayability.

Conclusion

Costume Guide Secret World Legends has a ton of neat costumes you can wear. Most of them require you to do different quests and things though. So I'll give you a list of costumes that you need achievements to get. And how to do them Atenist Garb The Atenist Garb is a costume that you get after completing Tier 4 in Egypt's main quest. Blade of Mercy The Blade Of Mercy is a weapon in Bloodborne that can be either a normal sword, or twin blades. The BoM has somewhat small starting damage with a base 60 physical and 30 arcane. It is a pure skill weapon, so leveling skill will be a great idea for this weapon. At +0 it has a C ranking in Skill, then at +1 to +4 it has a B ranking, +5 to +9 it has an A ranking and at 10+ it has an S ranking. The BoM is a fast weapon, and great for fast combos. Infact, it's main combo happens to be an R1 spam. With the BoM you can get an 8 hit combo just with R1. While in transformed mode its L2 does a sweep attack then a back step. The best attacks for this weapon are attacks followed up by running or dashing, as it does 50% more damage when done so. Though the thing is, to get this weapon you normally have to go through Eileen the Crow's quest line then Defeat Rom, a later game boss.
