Darksouls 1 Where To Go

Image
Firelink Shrine Firelink shrine is your central hub in Darksouls, when you meet important npcs across the world they'll come here so you can buy/sell/talk to them whenever. Firelink is the first place you go after escaping  The Undead Asylum . Now once you first go to firelink shrine there's two places you can go from here, and there will be many more places to go from Firelink once you open and gain shortcuts. But before you do anything we're going to want to explore the area. The first NPC you'll meet the Crestfallen Knight. Don't attack him, he's way too strong for you right now so just let him be for the moment. Now next NPC you'll want to find is along the right side of the shrine, named Petrus of Thorolund. He's a larger npc that will allow you to join the Way of the White covenant, which makes it easier to find helpful summons and harder to be invaded. Once joining the Way of the White he'll sell you miracles, healing miracles and t...

Darksouls 1 Simple Beginner Guide.

Darksouls  Darksouls 1, though you'll normally hear it simply called Darksouls is first game in the Darksouls trilogy, not counting Demon's Souls. Darksouls came out in 2011 originally  for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. In 2012 out came the Prepare to Die Edition, including the base game and it's single DLC, coming out for PS3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows.  Undead Asylum When you enter the game you're an undead locked in a cell. A body just dropped by a knight into your cell, containing a key. Once you walk out of your cell you realize that you're in a large prison filled with other undead, you're equipped with armor and a broken sword. While you walk through the halls you'll see various undead that at the moment are no problem, soon enough you'll find a later to climb up, keep walking and ta da! You'll see a bonfire. If you haven't played other souls games then there will be different bonfire around the world, each one restores al...

Darksouls 3 Twin Princes Boss Fight

Image
Fight Mechanics The Twin Princes boss fight, the second to last boss fight in the game right before the Soul of Cinder. (Not counting optional or dlc bosses.) The fight can be found at the very end of the Grand Archives zone. Now first things first when you enter the boss room you'll need to fight Elder Brother Lorian. He has similar design to the Outrider Knights you can find throughout the game, except much larger and wielding his Greatsword. He's weak to Frost and Magic damage. Though very very weak to Lightning Magic. You'll want to use the lightning spell or resin on him. He's very resistant to Dark damage. He can bleed, but it's either bleed or Lightning. So you wouldn't really need bleed if you having lightning. He can be parried, though once parried can only be countered. The only way to Riposte is when you hit him with a weapon like Ledo's Great Hammer  that has a bunch of poise you have a chance to stagger him. Once in Phase One he'll have...

Darksouls 3 Ashes of Ariendel DLC Sister Friede Fight

Image
Fight Rewards Sister Friede is a boss in the ashes of Ariendel DLC meaning that she is an optional boss to get any of the four main game endings. Though of course there is still reasons to fight her. Once you kill her you'll get her boss soul which you can use to either get Friede's Great Scythe or the Rose of Ariandel in Firelink shrine.  Friede's Great Scythe The Great Scythe is the same one that she uses again you in the boss fight. It's paired meaning that it's two scythes in one that you can either duel wield or use with a shield or whatever you'd want to use. The Scythe deals a base 110 physical damage and 77 magical damage. Although the magical damage is only applied while using the weapon art. The scythe has 45 frost damage just like Friede's scythe in the fight. To use it requires 12 strength, 16 dex, 12 int and 11 faith. Once the scythe is upgraded all the way to 5+, meaning you've upgraded it five times. Normal weapons can be upgrad...

Darksouls 3: Oceiros The Consumed King Fight

Image
Oceiros The Consumed King This fight brings back bad memories. It caused me a lot of trouble on my first few runs and didn't even finish it till recently with a new build and finding out a few tricks to it. He is a fairly hard boss. He's found at the Consumed King's Garden under Lothic castle, so he's very later game, depending on if you beat the dancer early or not. Oceiros is an optional boss for the main Link the Fire ending, but it required for the End of Fire ending. Preparing for the fight There's a few things that you'll want to do and or get. Now your best bet for this boss is being either a faith or strength build, I honestly suggest strength. Ocerios is very weak to lightning and frost. More to lightning, as lightning does a lot of damage to most everything in the game, more so to Ocerios considering he's a dragon. And in darksouls lore lightning was always used in the art of dragon hunting by Gwyn's Silver Knights or Lothric Knights...

Darksouls III Vordt of the Boreal Valley

Image
Vordt of the Boreal Valley in the High Wall of Lothric Vordt of the Boreal Valley Oh Vordt. How this brings back many memories of being beaten mercilessly as a poor soul level three Pyromancer on my first run through of the game.  Preparing for Summons Now, to prepare for this boss there's two summons you can get. First thing you'll want to do is go back to Firelink and go left, facing the door into the shrine. You'll find the Sword Master npc by a door. He's a fairly difficult npc early game and we try to parry and riposte you, so be careful. Once you kill him you'll get his armor and his sword. His sword is actually pretty good with a nice weapon art that you might want early game. Once you kill him you'll get his summon sign for the Vordt boss fight. The next summon will be up by the boss door over to the right near the right. You'll need nothing for that it's the Lion Knight. Damage boosting  Now, before you go into the boss fight te...

Dark souls III Iudex Gundyr

Image
Iudex Gundyr Boss battle with Iudex Gundyr at the Cemetery of Ash Yes! Darksouls III, my best friend. I've been playing this game a lot recently and it's probably one of my favorite games of all time ever. My first play through of the game it probably took me up to ten tries to beat Gundyr, which going back at it now after taking a break for a bit. It's like a nice walk through a meadow of flowers and sunshine compared to the other bosses. Gundyr is the very first boss in the game so how easy he is depends a lot of your class and starting gift more than anything else, since you dont have a chance to get any new weapons or armor before him. Class and Starting Weapon Now, there's three classes I'll recommend  picking for this fight. Knight, Sorcerer, or Pyromancer. I'll go over each and which one you'll want to pick with what starting item for the boss. And what strategy you want to use for each Pyromancer and Sorcerer Pyromancer and Sorce...
